LOCATION
Hotel City Inn is perfectly located in Central Prague, approximately 700 metres (0,45 mile) to both Old Town and Wenceslas squares. The area features the most remarkable historic sights in Prague as well as numerous shops, restaurants and bars.
Mazarykovo Nadrazi, the oldest train station building in Prague is situated next to Hotel City Inn. If you walk along Hybernska Street, you will reach Namesti Republiky (Republic Square) where Municipal House, an attractive building in Art Nouveau style and National Bank are located. On your way towards the Old Town Square, you may like to visit the House of the Black Madonna where you will find a museum of Cubism.
The Old Town Square features magnificent structures such as the St. Nicholas Church, the Church of Our Lady in front of Tyn, the Old Town Hall and Tower. You can also visit the Astronomical Clock which is mounted on the Old Town City Hall and dates back to the 15th century. The Maisel Synagogue, the Jewish Town Hall and the High Synagogue will be on your right as you walk towards the Charles Bridge.
The commercial centre of the New Town, Wenceslas Square (Vaclavske Namesti) features numerous shopping, dining and entertainment facilities as well as the National Museum and the Prague State Opera.
The closest public transportation links are Masarykovo Nadrazi tram station (50 metres / 164 feet) and Namesti Republiky metro station (350 metres / 0,2 mile). To arrive at Hotel City Inn from Prague Ruzyne Airport, you can get on bus no. 100 to Zlicin and transfer here to metro line B to Namesti Republiky.
